As we approach Father’s Day and as a father, I am reflecting this weekend on how important it is for fathers to be actively involved in their children’s lives. Today I can’t help but to also think about the fact that there is no father on Broward County nine member School Board and how this missing input could be beneficial.
The perspective and involvement of both fathers and mothers are so important for both our sons and daughters. Wouldn’t you agree? It would be beneficial to our Broward children to have a father on Broward County School Board to add a diverse perspective to the decision and policy making processes.
