It was an honor to attend the City of Plantation first Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration. Speakers included Mayor Lynn Hess Stoner, Councilwoman Denise Appleby Horland, Council President Nick Sortal and Senator Chris Smith.
Also spent part of the day at several other events honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. including events in Fort Lauderdale and Deerfield Beach.
